Success depends on hard labour and can not be achieved overnight. It takes a long time to preme a great task and give it a permanent shape. Once Rome was a city of great splendour and magnificence. She drew the attention of then civilized world but she did not rise to prominence all on a sudden. It was the result of the patient labour of her people. Similar is the case with all our undertaking on earth. Everybody desires greatness, but very few attain it this is because most men do not have patience and perseverance to push on with their objects. The lose hart under the initial difficulties and give up altogether in despair.

On the contrary, there are some who work on with farm determination in the face of all difficulties. They may fail once or twice or even repeatedly; still they carry on bravely and firmly until success comes on to them in the end. The well known story of Robert Bruce and the spider proves the truth of this. He had failed six times to defeat his enemies but at seventh time he had succeed. We all should take the lesson from the story. This is why, nothing great can be achieved without patient labour. Man has to wait to have the things done. So Rome was not build in a day.
